Coimbatore: After casting his votes at Vadambchery Panchayat School in Sulur, AIADMK candidate Kandasamy avowed that his opponents are sure to lose deposit.
The candidate asserted that he would win by a whopping vote margin. His victory is the victory of ruling State government, he said.
"The welfare schemes announced by the AIADMK for Sulur was meticulously planned in a bid to enhance the lives of the people in Sulur and resolve their pressing issues. However, the opposition parties manifestos are fake and intended to lure the people", he said.
When questioned if TTV, Dinakaran's AMMK will spilt AIADMK's votes and play a spoilsport, Kandasamy denied and claimed that AMMK has next to 'zero' presence in Sulur.
"Dinakaran's dream to buy voters and AIADMK cadres for money will not realise. The true spirited AIADMK cadres are on our side", Kandasamy opined.
Kandasamy is the relative of the deceased Sulur MLA Kangaraj whose sudden death warranted a by-poll in Sulur along with Ottapidaram, Aravakurichi and Thiruparunkundram assembly constituencies.
