Coimbatore : The Police arrested a four member gang on Wednesday for involving in a brazen daylight murder attempt on Avinashi road which left two people grievously injured.

Sathish, Hari, Dhanapal and Surya were the four accused who were arrested and later remanded by the special team formed under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Balaji Saravanan (law & order).
The four member gang stabbed Pradeep and Tamil Vannan using knives and other weapons and escaped from the spot.
Pradeep and Tamilvannan, the duo who were injured are also repeat offenders linked to a criminal case.
Even after the arrest, the Police fell dubious on few people belonging to both the gangs who were planning to revenge each other.
Race Course Police inspector, Dheivasigamani arrested eight people on Saturday. The arrested have been identified as Kuppuraj, Kesavan, Pradeep, Naveen Kumar from Mor Market, Krishnamoorthy, Tamilarasan, Goutham, Nandakumar from Kamarajapuram area.
