Pongalur Palaniswamy, the candidate of Secular Progressive Alliance ended his campaign at Sulur Girls Higher Secondary School.
On the closing day of the campaign, DMK election incharge E.V Velu and Former Union Minister, A. Raja accompanied the candidate and appealed to the voters.
"TN Chief Minister, Edapadi Palaniswamy in all his campaigns promised that his government will address to all pressing issues of the people once they win the by-polls. His promise implies that his government has failed to attend to people's issues. The CM is luring people to resolve the issues of the farmers and water crisis", alleged E. V Velu in his campaign.
The DMK leader also accused the government for being passive for the past three years on issues like NEET. "I doubt, if the government is awake?" he chided.
He appealed to the voters to make use of this opportunity to bring a change in governance.
He recalled to the public on the hiked electricity bills, bus fares and rising unemployment issues prevailing in Sulur during AIADMK regime.
He concluded by asking the voters of Sulur assembly constituency to think prudently before casting their votes.
