For the first time, drones will be used as part of the advanced security check of the route and high rise buildings during the governor's visit.
The 123rd Flower expo is all set to commence from May 17-21. TN Governor, Banwarilal Purohit will inaugurate the show at 10 am in the presence of Gagandheep Singh Bedi IAS, Chief Secretary of Horticulture, Nilgiris District Collector, J. Innocent Divya IAS and Directorate of Horticulture and Plantation Crops, Dr. N. Subbaiyan.
The five day expo will conclude on May 21. And, prizes for the best floral decorations will be distributed by the Governor.
The security arrangements are supervised by Shanmugapriya, Superintendent of Police, Nilgiris district.
