“For a fair rule, Rahul should be PM and Stalin should be CM”, says former Congress President Thirunavukkarasu during Sulur campaign

Coimbatore: Former Tamil Nadu Congress President Thirunavukarasu campaigned at Pattanampudur on Wednesday supporting Sulur constituency candidate Pongalur Palanisamy.

Coimbatore: Former Tamil Nadu Congress President Thirunavukarasu campaigned at Pattanampudur on Wednesday supporting Sulur constituency candidate Pongalur Palanisamy.

Addressing the gathering, he said "I hope you all have voted to sweep Modi from the regime in the Parliament elections. It's time to teach a lesson for the worst regime in the past 5 years. Narendra Modi and BJP Ministers came to power by giving false promises."

"Our PM Modi is yet to visit many States in India but has thoroughly toured the World. Youngsters are mocking his touring schedule. As a PM, he has failed to execute welfare schemes to the people. Demonetization is the biggest fraud by the Modi government", he said.

"At the end, it was the poor who suffered the wrath of demonetization and GST. They were made to run hither and thither to change their money at banks and ATMs. To the contrary, the rich and the corporates enjoyed the secret benefits of demonetization. Loan defaulters from poor economical background were dealt stringently but the corporates who eloped with several thousands of crores were let go freely", alleged the former TN Congress President.

"Presently, the local frauds, AIADMK have joined hands with Modi. People did not vote for Edapadi Palanisamy or O. Paneerselvam. They voted for former CM Jayalalitha. The top Ministers of AIADMK made her die like an orphan. Modi did not visit Jayalalitha at hospital but Rahul Gandhi visited her.", he noted.

"Having Arignar Anna’s name in their party name, AIADMK's alliance with BJP is intolerable. People should punish them for joining with BJP", said Thirunavukarasu.

He appealed to the Sulur voters to vote for Pongalur Palanisamy. He also opined that voting for TTV Dinakaran's AMMK party will make no difference. "All those who start a separate party cannot become MGR", he mocked TTV.

He concluded by saying that Rahul Gandhi should become Prime minister and Stalin should become Chief Minister. To throw the fascist government and reestablish a fair rule, people should vote for DMK.
