The flowers show will be a five-day event this year, and will commence on May 17-21. Menawhile, a photo exhibition was opened for public on Tuesday at Ooty's Government Horticulture Center.
The photo exhibition will be held for one month and will display rare photographs of the fauna and flora of the region. Tourists enjoyed the exhibition, as they could gain knowledge on the various species of birds, animals and trees native to the Nilgiris region.
Different types of roses, imported shrubs, rare flowering plants etc.also thrilled the spectators.
Photographs of native tribes of the Nilgiris depicting their culture and tradition were also showcased.
