Coimbatore: In the recent IFS officers reshuffle by the State Government, A. Udhayan, the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (APCCF) of the Coimbatore Circle, who was posted here on the 1st of March, has been transferred from the post within a period of two and a half months and has been posted as the APCCF of Chennai (wildlife).

Udhayan, the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (APCCF) of the Coimbatore Circle, who was posted here on the 1st of March, has been transferred from the post within a period of two and a half months and has been posted as the APCCF of Chennai (wildlife).
Udhayan has been replaced by Debasis Jana, APCCF and Director of the Tamil Nadu Forest Academy (TNFA), Coimbatore.
Udhayan, who was the former Member Secretary of Tamil Nadu Biodiversity Board, Chennai, was transferred to Coimbatore Circle as APCCF in the previous IFS officers reshuffle. However, he has been transferred from the post within a span of 80 days in his office.
The current APCCF of Coimbatore Circle, Debasis Jana was called back to the forest department from the State Planning Commission while he was serving as the head of Land Use, during the same reshuffle on the 1st of March. He was posted as the Director of TNFA, while Udhayan was posted as the APCCF of Coimbatore Circle and now both have been transferred again.
Meanwhile, Subrat Mahopatra, APCCF of Chennai (working plan) has been transferred and posted as APCCF of Madurai Circle, in the newly created post.
APCCF of Project Tiger, Chennai, A. Venkatesh, has also been transferred and posted as APCCF of Dharmapuri Circle.
