Coimbatore: The Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK)'s Spokesperson, Pugalendhi in a press meet in Coimbatore has condemned the remarks of Minister Rajendra Balaji who in an attempt to slam Kamal Haasan for his recent remarks on Nathuram Godse, said the actor-turned-politician's tongue should be chopped off.

Claiming it to be an threatening remark, Pugalendhi demanded arrest of the Minister for his intimidating comment. "If he has any objection to Kamal's comment he should have complained to the Election Commission, instead passing such barbaric comments of chopping one's tongue for passing comments is utterly gross", he said.
He also questioned as to why the Chief Minister is silent over the issue and why has he not warned his Minister for his disgraceful remarks. "Will Minister Rajendra Balaji cut off CM's tongue too?", he asked.
After May 23, AMMK will be releasing a list of corruptions done by the ruling AIADMK government in building bridges and flyovers in the State. A few Minister's are sure to get remanded, after May 23, Pugalendhi opined.
When questioned on the recent meeting between DMK, President Stalin and Telangana CM, Chandrasekara Rao, he said the meeting is very fishy. While Stalin has been ardently supporting Rahul Gandhi as PM Candidate, so close to the results, why should Stalin meet Chandrasekara Rao? By the way, Chandrasekara Rao is a puppet of BJP and not a promising third front, he slammed.
