Over the week, the lone tusker was spotted multiple times by the locals in the area. The tusker was seen aggressive and rampaged farmlands at Kallar. The tusker has reportedly chased some tourist vehicles on the MTP-Ooty main road near Kallar on Saturday.
The forest department has warned the tourists to refrain from clicking pictures of the lone tusker and getting down from their vehicles on the MTP-Kallar stretch.
