Coimbatore: Equipped with 50 bays, and a capacity to service 20,000 vehicles, Skoda Auto India has unveiled its largest workshop facility in Coimbatore. Spread across a sprawling 49,585 sq ft service area, the workshop has been set up in association with SGA Cars India, said a media release.

The service outlet is located on the Uppilipalayam Main Road, Sowripalayam. With more than 40 dedicated after sales personnel, the 49,585 sq ft service outlet houses rainwater harvesting capabilities, thus contributing to the Green Future vision of Skoda Auto.
Under the project, the Czech maker plans to increase the accessibility of the brand by doubling its dealer network across fifty new cities, over the next three years.
Zac Hollis, Director-Sales, Service and Marketing, Skoda Auto India said in the release that, “Skoda India is set to strengthen its presence in the southern markets of our nation. The dimensions of the new facility are a reflection of the region potential for the brand."
He also added that "Skoda India is confident on the partnership with SGA Cars India".
Following the inauguration of this state-of-the-art facility in the city, the company aims to establish a strong foothold in the southern markets of our nation.
