M K Azhagiri ,while addressing the gathering mocked the Chief Minister saying, "Edappadi Palanisami is safe in the hands of Modi.”

“The DMK-Congress coalition is the one with policies and a non-opportunist coalition for India’s growth. When the opponent team was dragging the coalition talks, this DMK-Congress coalition was formed in three hours, which was never before seen in Indian history. The Congress manifesto was prepared only after valuable inputs and consultations of many other party leaders. P Chidambaram is the one who prepared the election manifesto. BJP’s downfall started after seeing the manifesto. Hence, the decisions that Congress takes are not the decision taken by an individual. Did Modi inform us about demonetization of 500, 1000 rupees note, beforehand? Was this helpful for our nation? There is not even a single good thing that BJP has done for the people in India," slammed M K Azhagiri.
"Our Congress blood flows in Kumari Anandhan but his daughter Tamizhisai Soundarrajan is asking, “Why could Congress not eradicate poverty in the nation in its 60-year rule?” No other nation in the world has eradicated poverty so quickly as India. People should understand that untouchability has been prevailing here for the past 5000 years. In spite of this, we have eradicated poverty as quickly as possible. Congress is the party that gave more power to State governments. But Modi has amassed power. The AIADMK, now, is not what it used to be in the lifetime of MGR and Jayalalithaa. There is no self-esteem in AIADMK, now. There is no concern regarding the rights of Tamil Nadu state. Edappadi Palanisami is saying that India is safe in the hands of Modi, but we can only say, "Edappadi is safer in the hands of Modi,” " mocked M K Azhagiri while commenting on the policies of BJP and AIADMK in contrast to the Congress rule in the past.
