Coimbatore: In an accident near Periyanaickenpalayam involving a private bus and a two-wheeler, one person died on the spot.
Coimbatore: In an accident near Periyanaickenpalayam involving a private bus and a two-wheeler, one person died on the spot.
According to reports, a private bus with registration number TN 66 E 97 57 was speeding to Mettupalayam from Coimbatore and collided head on with a two-wheeler near Periyanaickenpalayam. The person on the two-wheeler fell from from the vehicle and died on the spot.
The person’s body had to be recovered with the help of JCB.
Following this, the corpse was taken to Coimbatore Government hospital for postmortem. The Periyanaickenpalayam police have commenced investigation. The deceased has been identified as Stephen Prabhu (22).
