Who will pay for all this?


Murder of anyone in any form is highly condemnable. But rioting in the name of 'condemning' or 'mourning' for the victim, is equally condemnable as it lacks sensitivity, causing severe damage to public property, disturbs communal harmony and delays justice being served for the victim.

Yesterday, a peaceful city was brought down to it's knees because one organization's functionary was murdered by some unidentified people.

Several lakh people lost their daily living because the city was forcibly shut down. His body was allowed to be taken as a procession for more than 10 kms across the city. The agitators used the procession as a mask and pillaged hundreds of shops, ATM's, signage boards, public transport buses, auto's, two-wheelers and police jeeps.

What is the outcome of this rioting? Many business establishments had no choice but watch their shops and establishments get destroyed, for no apparent reason. Now, which of these organizations are going to take the responsibility for the damage done to public property? Who is going to pay for all this?
