With by-elections nearing in Sulur constituency, around 48 nominations have been filed from April 22 till today that includes candidates of AIADMK, DMK, AMMK and Naam Tamilar.
By-polls for Sulur, Thirupparankundram, Aravakkurichi and Ottapidaram will be held on May 19 and the results will be announced on May 23 along with the results of Parliamentary elections.
