Students reach out to the needy to draft petitions at Collectorate

Every Monday, the district collectorate is thronged by people from different parts of the city to submit their complaints and petitions on various issues faced by them. People who are economically and educationally deprived seek the help of the others to write down petitions. In the notion to help those people draft their petitions, Dr. SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science have been sending their students to the Collectorate, to aid the needy to draft and file petitions.

Every Monday, five students from the college would be seen at the Collectorate, busy drafting petitions, upon request. The Collectorate officials were initially providing them with the necessary stationary for drafting petitions but in recent times, no stationary is been provided to them to aid them accomplish their service.

The students also have requested that the officials should help them by providing a separate place and a desk, so that they would be able to serve more people in a precise way.

Anyways, Dr. SNS Rajalakshmi College Management deserves a big applause for their humanitarian act and for involving their students towards social responsibility.
