Coimbatore : In an effort to create awareness on the importance of the coin among merchants and public, K Palanisamy of the Tamil Nadu Ilaignar Katchi filed his nomination for the Sulur by-election today by handing over his nomination deposit in 10 rupee coins in a sand pot.
Coimbatore : In an effort to create awareness on the importance of the coin among merchants and public, K Palanisamy of the Tamil Nadu Ilaignar Katchi filed his nomination for the Sulur by-election today by handing over his nomination deposit in 10 rupee coins in a sand pot. The attempt was also to highlight awareness on coins as many shop owners refuse to accept coins. "These coins were brought from the public," added K Palanisamy.
