Coimbatore: A statement from the Coimbatore District Collector’s office has been released today on TASMAC bars closure on May 1.
The release states, "TASMAC shops and bars attached to it (FL1), Liquor Bars in recreation clubs (FL2), Bars in Star hotels (FL3), Tamil Nadu Hotel (FL3A) and licensed shops which sell imported liquor in Coimbatore District should be closed on 1.5.2019 (Wednesday) for May Day (Dry day). Legal action will be taken against shops which violate the order."
