Coimbatore : TWith today being the last date to file nominations for the upcoming by-poll in Sulur and the other three constituencies in Tamil Nadu, the Makkal Needhi Maiam candidate G Mayilsami filed his nomination at the Tahsildhar office in Sulur.
G Mayilsami (65) is a keen and dedicated organic farmer from Sulur. He has been involved in the production of organic fertilizers and manure, as well as actively involved in social welfare activities through various NGOs. He also served as a Treasurer in Uzhavar Uzhaippalar Vivasaya Sangam for a long period. "Being an organic farming enthusiast, I will strive to work for the upliftment of organic farming in Sulur," vowed Mayilsamy.
He also added that clean and uninterrupted water supply, restoring and protecting water bodies in and around Sulur constituency and a green environment are his plans for the Sulur constituency.
