Talking at the introduction meeting of Kandhasamy, the candidate of the AIADMK alliance who is to contest at Sulur, Shanmugham further claimed that Stalin was unfit to be the leader of the opposition.
He further claimed that the Edappadi Palanisamy led State Government was functioning successfully despite efforts from enemies to bring it down asking the cadre to work for victory in the Sulur By-election.
During the meeting, Ministers S.P. Velumani, Mafoi Pandiyarajan, leaders from alliance including C.P. Radhakrishnan from BJP and Panapatti Dhinakaran from DMDK participated in the event.
