Coimbatore : The officials from CB-CID department who are presently investigating the Pollachi sexual assault case have stated that all case details and evidences will be handed over to CBI within 2-3 days of time.

Though CBI has filed the FIR for the case, the CB-CID officials are awaiting for the official confirmation to hand-over the case to the former.
According to sources, the CB-CID officials investigating the case have stated that "CB-CID will continue to investigate the case, until we receive any official order to hand over the case to CBI".
In this situation, it is speculated that officials from CBI will arrive to Coimbatore in a day or two, to fulfil the formalities of officially transferring the case from CB-CID.
