Pongalur N.Palanisami of DMK who is contesting the Sulur by-election on behalf of the Secular Progressive Alliance campaigned today in Chinniyampalayam area. He carried out door to door campaign at The campaign, which started at Chinniyampalayam PNP Colony, Harijan colony, Gemini lane, Venkittapuram and Kulathur area and sought the support of the people.

“The upcoming bypolls on May 19 will end Edappadi Palanisami’s regime. People should recall the people-friendly projects and schemes implemented during DMK regime. The credit for expanding Trichy road and inviting projects worth Rs.1000 crores during Semmozhi conference in Coimbatore I a proof for DMK's successful regime", said Pongalur Palanisamy during his campaign at Chinniyampalayam.

He also alleged that Prime Minister Modi came to power by rendering false promises to people.
"The manifetos of DMK and Congress are well-received by the people. Cancellation of NEET exam, discounting agricultural loans and education loans, reduction in cable TV charges are the some of the key points of our manifesto", he added.
The elections for Sulur bypoll will be held on May 19.
