Coimbatore : Shivanjali's Temple of Fine Arts is to conduct a Fine Arts live music concert ‘JAALAM’ for the first time in the city on May 1, in the auditorium of Kumaraguru College of Technology.
According to a release, JAALAM will be a platform where 'World Music' will be showcased in collaboration with The Sunshine Orchestra (a project of the A R Rahman Foundation) and Shri Aravind Bhargav, a disciple of the Mandolin maestro, late U Srinivas. The Sunshine Orchestra is the marquee project of the A R Rahman foundation. Socially and economically deprived children with an aptitude in music are provided free musical training.
