Coimbatore: Prabhakaran of “People’s Movement against Injustice” arrived at the Sulur Tahsildhar office today to file his nomination papers for the upcoming Sulur by-election, as an independent candidate.
Coimbatore: Prabhakaran of “People’s Movement against Injustice” arrived at the Sulur Tahsildhar office today to file his nomination papers for the upcoming Sulur by-election, as an independent candidate.
Since the nomination amount is fixed at Rs.10,000, Prabhakaran collected his deposit amount from the public and handed it over as 10 rupee coins while filing his nomination with the Sulur Election Officer, Balakrishnan.

Prabhakaran has been asking votes from the public and collecting 1 rupee coins from each person, and then exchanging them for 10 rupee coins. He reportedly collected the entire deposit amount of Rs.10,000 in this manner, to file his nomination papers.
