Coimbatore : The city is witnessing a disturbing trend of fraudsters mushrooming in the past few years, duping people with false promises of jobs abroad. Youth across Tamil Nadu have been the latest target for such fraudsters, who are operating with Coimbatore as their headquarters. It is reported that the fraudsters have amassed huge sums of money using the same modus operandi. And yet, those who have fallen prey to these fraudsters lament that their complaints to the police have not resulted in any action of apprehending the fraudsters.

And yet, those who have fallen prey to these fraudsters lament that their complaints to the police have not resulted in any action of apprehending the fraudsters.
Over 15 youth filed a complaint with the Coimbatore Police Commissioner against Kruzlin Edu Consultant alleging that the company had duped students to part with many lakhs, falsely assuring jobs in Canada.
The youth allege that Rasool Peter and his daughter Evanjeline who are founders of a company named Kruzlin Edu Consultant situated on Cross Cut Road in Gandhipuram, lure youngsters through their English coaching classes. They allegedly brainwash these youth into parting with large sums of money, assuring them of jobs in foreign countries.
Dev Anandh, an accomplice, introduces himself to the youth, lures them with false promises of arranging jobs in Canada. Believing him, youngsters from many districts have paid Rs.2 lakhs, 3 lakhs and 4 lakhs in installments and awaited jobs. Over 15 youngsters have paid a total of more than Rs.40 lakhs to the company's founders.
After a period of total silence for nearly four months, the youth apparently approached the duo and demanded that their money be returned if jobs were not in the offing. After being blatantly refused, the victims filed a complaint at C-1 police station on January 29 and at C-2 police station, the following month. They were also urged by the police to file a complaint with the Economic Offenses Wing of Crime Branch, and the youth complied. Since no action had been initiated in spite of several victims complaining, and with the news that the fraudsters had absconded, the youth decided to approach the City Police Commissioner directly today to file their complaint and requested immediate action against the fraudsters to recover their money.
