Briefing on the security arrangements, returning officer, K. Rajamani said "A three-tier security has been arranged at strong rooms where EVMs were kept. The CRPF and armed police have been deployed at strong rooms. The police will be monitoring the strong rooms 24/7 on a shift basis. 117 CCTV cameras have been placed all around the place including all entry and exit points."
"Until the counting day on May 23, the strong room will be under the control of police department", he added.
