The District Collector, K S Palanisamy inspected the process of zone-wise segregation and dispatch. After the inspection, the Collector said, ”Polling booth officers are given appointment orders and sent to the respective polling booths along with EVMs and other election materials.
Election flying squads and surveillance teams are patrolling to avoid any kind of untoward incidents in polling booths," he added.
