Coimbatore : The flying squad has seized Rs.1.40 crores at Sulur while carrying out a regular vehicle check in front of the Sulur Government Hospital. They seized Rs.1.40 crores from a vehicle which was reportedly carrying the cash to one of the branches of Bank of Baroda, since they did not possess any legal documents.

According to an investigation by the electoral flying squad, the amount was seized while it was being returned to the Bank’s head office in Coimbatore, after handing over the money at the Bank’s branch in Pollachi and Udumalpet. The flying squad have commenced an investigation on the incident.
