Based on the information that AIADMK members are distributing cash at Ponnaiyarajapuram in Gandhipark, DMK members rushed to the spot and nabbed all five AIADMK cadres and lodged them in a house nearby. It is reported that one of the AIADMK cadres managed to escape.
On information, the electoral flying squad and police arrived at the spot and apprehended the AIADMK cadres lodging them at the Variety Hall police station.
