Bandh puts City in sleep-mode


Coimbatore is witnessing a complete shut down due to the bandh. Empty roads with scarce people movement is been observed at most parts of the city. Even the most happening junctions of the city seem to be void of people and activities.

Government buses kept plying from early hours but mostly vacant. Shops, restaurants, petrol pumps will be shut down till evening 6 pm. Additional police force have been deployed at all important junctions for ensuring people's safety and no disturbance to their routine.
