Coimbatore : Based on a complaint that DMK members are involved in distributing cash to people at Selvapuram in the city, the police department, income tax department and electoral officials are conducting an investigation at Selvapuram.
It is reported that AIADMK cadres thronged the area and filed a complaint at the Selvapuram police station. Meanwhile, officials from the income tax department are conducting a raid at a building called ‘Deepam Scan’ which is also at Selvapuram. Following this, electoral officials are also investigation in the same building. The police have reportedly taken two DMK cadres to the Selvapuram police station on charges of distributing money to the public.
