Former VHP International working President, Praveen Togadia is of the opinion that Prime Minister Modi has consistently built on the image of a humble “tea seller” in the eyes of the Indian masses, but has never really sold tea in real life. Togadia said that it was more of a gimmick to gain sympathy from voters.
Togadia, who now heads the Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad also stated that the BJP and RSS have no intention of letting the Ram Temple be built. “The people of the country are kept in the dark about the Ram temple for 125 years, which would not be built in the next five years, even if Modi returns to power in the forthcoming polls. The sole intention of the BJP is to keep the Ram temple issue alive so as to get political support,” opined Togadia. He added that a new political party for Hindus is to be floated on February 9 and once the party wins in Parliament, the Ram temple will be built.
While dwelling on the Kashmir issue, Togadia said that Article 350A will be scrapped and any citizen of India will be able to own land in Kashmir. The Hindus will become a majority there and form a Government, and the stone pelters would be taught a fitting lesson. Togadia felt that PM Modi will be forced to return to his native state after the general elections, since he would lose in the upcoming elections this year.
