Coimbatore : The Kovai Jallikattu Association has announced that Jallikattu is planned in Coimbatore on February 10, in which more than 500 bulls and more than 350 players are expected to take part.
Coimbatore : The Kovai Jallikattu Association has announced that Jallikattu is planned in Coimbatore on February 10, in which more than 500 bulls and more than 350 players are expected to take part. Though Jallikattu is conducted in various districts every year, the traditional sport of Tamil Nadu was conducted in Coimbatore after nearly 39 years, last year.
Speaking on this, the Secretary of the Coimbatore Jallikattu Association said, "Kovai Jallikattu Association along with the district authority is conducting Jallikattu on February 10 at L&T bypass, at Chettipalayam in Coimbatore. Arrangements are taking place at a rapid pace as the public is expected to throng in large numbers to watch the event."
