The petition was jointly filed by a few people at the District Collectorate here, stating that a firm named ‘Kongunadu Annai Chit Private Limited’ was refusing to repay their invested amount. "The firm had duped several lakhs money from people in and around Kuniyamuthur, Malumichampatti and Podanur by not repaying the matured amount.
The firm has been closed for the past few days and the owner was out of reach. So necessary action should be taken to retrieve the money," stated the petition.
