Tirupur : G Ramakrishnan, the CPM politburo member who participated in the Martyr's Day celebrations observed by the party in Tirupur, stated that the CPM demands a CBI inquiry into the Kodanadu heist-cum-murder case, to bring out the hidden facts to the world.
He also reiterated that the CPM aims to defeat BJP and oust it from power and help secular parties rally in one camp.
G Ramakrishnan observed, "Even though the CBI is under the influence of the PM Modi-led Central government, I feel the central agency could help unravel the mysterious facts behind the Kodanadu case, which has many twists like a Hollywood horror movie."
“The senior journalist Mathew Samuel who raked up the issue belonged to no particular opposition party but to Tehelka, a media organization, and hence it is imperative that a thorough investigation is carried out and facts brought to the public domain,” reiterated Ramakrishnan.
