Lieutenant General, Amrik Singh who served as the Commandant of the Defence Services Staff College at Wellington, Nilgiris for the past three years had retired. Following his retirement, Lieutenant General, Mohan from Andhra Pradesh has taken charge as the new Commandant.
Lieutenant General Mohan has been in the Indian army for the past 37 years and has held instructional assignments at the prestigious Tri-Services institutions. He has also been the Commandant of National Defence College, New Delhi.
