The Tamilnadu government moved a application to cancel bail for Kodanadu murder cum heist case accused Sayan and Manoj in the Ooty court, today.
Sayan and Manoj were arrested by Tamil Nadu Police from Delhi on January 13 when they came out with a startling statement that CM Edapadi Palanisamy was involved in the murder cum heist case. However, the duo were later granted bail.
Now, the TN government have moved an application in the Ooty Court, demanding cancellation of their bail. In the recent video released by senior journalist, Mathew, Syan was seen explaining his role in the heist and about CM Edapadi's involvement in the issue.
The video sent shock waves among the public and political parties who have urged the CM to step down and probe a CBI enquiry.
It may be recalled that in the sensational Kodanadu murder cum heist case, the security guard at the estate erstwhile Chief minister Jayalalithaa's bungalow, Om Bagdur was murdered and a burglary attempt was made on April 23, 2017.
Subsequently, Police arrested 10 persons of Kerala origin in the case.
While prime accused in the case Kanakaraj died in a road accident on 28, April 2017, the very next day Sayan, another accused was got involved in a road accident when he was proceeding in his car.
While Sayan escaped with injuries, his wife Vishnupriya and child Neetu died on the spot.
