Coimbatore : Tamil Nadu DGP T K Rajendran has ordered to open WhatsApp group for all police stations in the State.
A circular from the DGP to all police stations in the state says "WhatsApp groups should be opened for all police stations in the State. Inspector or Sub-Inspector could be the admin of the group. The group can be used to share notifications, photos and activities carried out within their police station limit".

The circular further added that "Details of group admin, policemen in the group should be sent to [email protected] before 10 am of January 18".
