Major tourist spots in the Nilgiris like Dolphin's Nose and Lamb’s Rock can be reached only through this road, and hence tourist vehicles were stuck since they were not allowed to go past the Currency Road, since this morning. Officials reassured the tourists that after the tree has been cleared away, the road can be accessed.
