Coimbatore : The President of Coimbatore District Small Industries Association, R Ramamoorthy announced in a media briefing in the city that CODISSIA will conduct the 'Elektrotec 2019' exhibition in the city for four days between January 24 to 27.

Four associations including the Coimbatore District Electronic Traders Association and Electrical Installation Engineers Welfare Association are hosting this four-day exhibition. Nearly 20,000 people from 12 states including Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh are expected to participate in this exhibition.
"Last year, the business raked in was up to Rs.130 crores, and this year the business is expected to touch Rs.300 crore. A separate hall has been allocated for renewable energy sector and electric vehicles. Conferences with regard to energy, atmosphere and water will also be conducted. A special focus will be paid to waste water management," added R Ramamoorthy.
