The Tamil Nadu government has been distributing free dhothis and sarees for Pongal celebrations for the past few years. Necessary stock are getting delivered to PDS shops in different parts of the State. The stock for Upper Thalaiyattu Mund was delivered today. The dhothis and sarees were shabby and damaged. The public was upset about the quality of the freebies.
