Tirupur: Adding a new hypothesis to the trending Sabarimala issue, Arjun Sampath of Hindu Makkal Katchi has alleged that Pinarayi Vijayan, CM of Kerala had strategized secret talks with DMK to tarnish the holiness of Sabarimala by sending women of menstruating age.

In a protest held at Tirupur, the cadres of Hindu Makkal Katchi were arrested by North Tirupur police as women cadres attempted to create flutter by visiting the Vavar Mosque situated at the foothills of Sabarimala temple.

The cadres demanded that "As Women are allowed to enter Sabarimala, they should be allowed to enter the Vavar mosque also".

As a matter of precaution, the police stopped the women and arrested them.

Commenting on the issue, Arjun Sampath said, "The whole issue is pre-planned by DMK and Pinarayi Vijayan. During the inauguration of Kalaignar statue, the plot was decided".

"It's an act to tarnish the legacy of the historical temple and Hindus", he added.
