Coimbatore: Students from various schools near Sirumugai, Mettupalayam conducted an anti-plastic awareness drive here today. Over 500 school students took part in the rally.
Coimbatore: Students from various schools near Sirumugai, Mettupalayam conducted an anti-plastic awareness drive here today. Over 500 school students took part in the rally.
The rally was organised by Pallipalayam Panchayat, police and Ambal School here and students carried placards advising the ill-effects of plastic as part of the rally. Public were also advised to use cloth bags instead of plastic bags as part of the rally.
Ambal Pazhanisami flagged off the rally near Ambal School here and it passed through important streets here. Awareness pamphlets were also distributed to the public.
