Arjun, a resident of Indra Nagar, Muthanampalayam in Tirupur placed a trap in his house to capture a bandicoot. Meanwhile, when he checked the trap today morning, he was surprised to find an animal inside the trap which he could not recognize.
On information, officials from forest department came to the spot and rescued a 3-year-old Asian Palm Civet and released into forest area.
