Mettupalayam Municipality, Police and NGO ‘Namma Mettupalayam’ jointly organised this anti-plastic awareness campaign in Municipal complex, Ulavar Santhai and bus stand.
As part of the campaign, pamphlets with details of banned plastics proposed by TN Pollution control Board were distributed to the public.
Municipal Engineer Ganeshan, Traffic Sub-Inspector Murali and NGO volunteers zealously took part in this awareness campaign.
