Addressing the media at the airport here, A. Raja said, "As case regarding Thiruvarur by-elections is pending in the Court, I cannot comment on it".
Speaking on the recent order to re-open Sterlite plant he said, "What else to expect from this inept State government?"
Replying to the question on pending crime cases against DMK candidate Poondi Kalaivanan of Thiruvarur he said, "Show me someone who has no case registered against him".
He also added that all those cases are fake.
He also met the families who lost their houses in cylinder explosion in Mettupalayam, on December 4.
Around 11 huts located in a row on Ooty road in Odandurai near Mettupalayam turned to ashes following a cylinder explosion. He distributed Rs 5,000 financial assistance to the affected families along with utensils, blankets, food packs and pillows.
DMK Coimbatore Rural North district in-charge C.R. Ramachandran and other party members were also present.
