Coimbatore: In an accident that occurred near Nava India here, a motorist died on the spot after a diesel tanker lorry ran over his head.
According to reports, Santhosh (44) of Sidhapudur here who is a finance firm employee was travelling in his motorcycle on Avinashi Road this morning. While he was travelling toward Lakshmi mills from Nava India, a diesel tanker lorry dashed against Santhosh’s motorcyle. Santhosh fell off his motorcycle and the lorry’s back tyre ran over his head. Santhosh died on the spot.
Following this, the traffic police have commenced an investigation into the accident.
