Delhi : Protesting against the decision of the Lok Sabha Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan, to suspend 24 AIADMK MPs on Wednesday for the ensuing five consecutive sittings (days), the suspended MPs have decided to stage a protest against the move in the Parliament Complex, today.

All 24 MPs including Sathyabama, Anwar Raja, PR Sundaram, and Vanaroja have been suspended when they stalled Parliament over the Mekadatu issue and demanded the Centre to withdraw the permission given for a feasibility report of the construction of the dam. In the Rajya Sabha, when the Tamil Nadu MPs protested, they were asked to leave the House for the day, by the Chairman, Venkaiah Naidu.
The Tirupur MP, Sathyabama spoke to Simplicity saying, "We are proceeding toward the Parliament Complex today where we will stage a protest against the suspension."
