A private college professor here, today petitioned with the City Police Commissioner demanding action against persons who cheated him Rs.4 lakhs for a government job.
Prakash (38) from Karur worked as a professor at Kalaivani Engineering College here in 2015. One of his student, Harinarayanan lured him promising a government job.

Harinarayanan allegedly told Prakash that his father has connections with higher political leaders and swindled Rs.4 lakhs from Prakash. However, Prakash did not receive any job appointment orders, during the past three years and Harinarayanan was not ready to return the money to Prakash.
Doubting Harinarayanan’s intentions, Prakash petitioned with City Police Commissioner today and demanded action against him.
