Coimbatore : A 52-year-old medical doctor died on the spot and three others sustained grievous injuries after their car plunged into a ravine in the narrow ghat section near Valparai today.
Coimbatore : A 52-year-old medical doctor died on the spot and three others sustained grievous injuries after their car plunged into a ravine in the narrow ghat section near Valparai today.
According to police, Dr. Thyagarajan working at Coimbatore Diabetes Center had stayed with his family at a private cottage in Oosimalai at Valparai.
While they were enroute from Velimalai to Oosimalai, he lost control of his car which plunged into a ravine.
In the accident, Dr. Thyagarajan sustained greivous injuries and died on the spot. His daughter, son and his brother doctor Balasubramani escaped with minor injuries.
