Coimbatore: A quarrel which erupted between two groups of AIADMK men in full public view has raised many eyebrows. Gopalakrishnan, son of legislator Amman Arjun was proceeding in an Innova car with another co-passenger, when suddenly a quarrel broke out near the Town Hall area right in the middle of the road.

According to eyewitnesses, a person who was driving behind the Innova car in another vehicle with the AIADMK flag was peeved at the behavior of the driver of the Innova car who is said to have been speaking on his mobile and blocking the way for the rear car.
A quarrel ensued between the two as they got down on to the road and abused each other. Blows were exchanged in the melee between the occupants of both cars. Later, both groups realizing that they were of the same ruling AIADMK party, went their own ways after onlookers intervened and initiated peace between both groups.
